A person has died following a medical emergency at a supermarket in Diss.

Emergency services were called to the incident at the Morrisons in Victoria Road shortly before 6.30pm on Thursday.

A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "An adult was transported by road to hospital but, despite the best efforts of our team, was pronounced dead before reaching the emergency department.”

Several police cars could also be seen in the Morrison's car park as officers supported the emergency response.
