PLUMPTON JOHN Passed away peacefully at Oakwood House Care Home, Norwich on November 30th, 2023, aged 77 years. Dear Brother to Ron, Janet and Pam. Dear Brother-in-law to Evelyn and Bob. Dear Uncle and Great-Uncle. Former Publican at The Buck, Morley. Funeral service will be held at St Mary's Church, Banham on Monday, January 15th at 11.30 a.m. followed by burial in the extended churchyard. Family flowers only please but donations for Friends of Banham School and St Mary's Church may be sent (Cheque to 'Andy Free Charity Account') c/o Andy Free Independent Family Funeral Director, Fairfields, High Street, Attleborough, NR17 2BT. First met with John when the vehicle engineering team at Lotus adopted the Kings Head at Ashwellthorpe as the evening office. Happy memories of many wild events which he always managed with good grace and great food.
Later became favourite local landlord at the Buck in Morley.
Thanks for the memories John, you will live on with us for ever.
