We asked our readers for their suggestions of underrated places to eat in Norfolk and these were some of their favourites.
1. Blue Joanna, Norwich
Where: 103 Unthank Road, Norwich, NR2 2PE
This charming restaurant in the heart of the Golden Triangle offers Asian-inspired small plates perfect for sharing, with the Korean blue corn tacos a customer favourite.
It also serves a range of cocktails and you may even hear owner Ecky playing the guitar.
2. Filby Bridge Restaurant, Filby
Where: Main Road, Filby, NR29 3AA
Located just a stone's throw from Great Yarmouth, this restaurant along the A1064 is worth a pit stop.
It offers stunning views of Filby and Little Ormesby Broad and serves a range of delicious dishes, including steaks and seafood.
3. Poppylands Tea Room, Horsey
Where: Waxham Road, Horsey, NR29 4EQ
Step back in time inside this 1940s-style tearoom, perfect for a coffee or something to eat while visiting the seal colony at Horsey Gap.
If you are looking for an extra special treat then book an afternoon tea piled high with delicious cakes, scones and sandwiches.
4. Saporita, Norwich

Enjoy pizzas by the slice and other authentic Italian dishes at this fabulous family-run eatery in the heart of Norwich.

5. The Smokey Grill House, North Walsham
Where: 15 Nursery Drive, North Walsham, NR28 0DR
Loads of our readers suggested this north Norfolk restaurant based inside North Walsham Garden Centre.
It serves grilled meats, including steaks and burgers, and fish from local suppliers served with fresh vegetables from local farmers.
6. The Bell Inn, Rickinghall
Where: The Street, Rickinghall, Diss, IP22 1BN
Located just south of Diss on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, this 17th-century coaching inn serves everything from sandwiches and light bites to pub classics and an a-la-carte menu.
The Sunday roasts are especially popular and it also boasts eight en-suite bedrooms too.
7. The Coach and Horses, Norwich
Where: 51 Bethel Street, Norwich, NR2 1NR
Another Norwich hidden gem, The Coach and Horses serves a delicious tapas menu served in a cosy setting.
It is also the perfect place to head for a delicious and affordable meal before seeing a show at Norwich Theatre Royal.
