Drivers in Norfolk and Waveney have been warned to expect heavy congestion during the early May bank holiday weekend.
The RAC estimates that 17.2 million leisure trips will be made by car in the UK between Friday, April 28, and Monday, May 1, making it the busiest since 2016.
A number of roadworks on major roads are planned over the weekend which could add to traffic woes in the county.
Here are some of the roadworks and congestion hotspots to watch out for.
A47 - Norwich to Great Yarmouth
The A47 heading towards Great Yarmouth will likely be busy over the weekend with people flocking to the beach to enjoy predicted high temperatures of 20C.
There are some roadworks that could impact journey times.

A lane closure is in place on the A47 at Blofield on Friday (April 28) and Saturday on the eastbound lane between the hours of 8pm and 8am.
Further along in Yarmouth, roundabout reconstruction is taking place overnight on Friday and Saturday at the Harfreys roundabout.
A47 - Norwich to King's Lynn
Drivers are also likely to be heading towards the west of the county to visit the beaches of Heacham, Hunstanton and Brancaster.
The A47 westbound is often a hotspot for congestion during bank holidays, particularly in the King's Lynn area at Southgates and Hardwick roundabouts.

If you are travelling on the road late at night, there is an overnight road closure from 8pm to 6am between Swaffham and King's Lynn due to reconstruction works.
Diversions will be in place at this time.
To the east at Wendling, there is a short lane closure in place between 8pm and 6am.
A11
This major trunk road is one of the main routes for drivers heading south out of the county and onwards towards major cities such as London, Cambridge and Birmingham.
It will also likely be used by much of the traffic travelling to Norfolk in order to visit the many beaches on the coast.

Ongoing carriageway reconstruction roadworks mean lane closures are in place between Attleborough and Cringleford.
The closures are in place at various points along this stretch which could cause delays to travel.
A146
If you are thinking of heading towards Lowestoft and the east Suffolk coast, roadworks on the A146 at Barnby may slow down your journey.
Two-way traffic signals will be in place while the gas works are carried out by Cadent engineers.
Outside Norfolk and Waveney
Congestion could peak this Friday afternoon when drivers embarking on getaway journeys compete for road space with commuters.
Transport data company Inrix is warning of the potential for long delays on the M5 southbound between Junction 15 (Bristol) and Junction 23 (Taunton), as well as the M6 northbound from Junction 18 (Chester) to Junction 24 (Liverpool).
Drivers embarking on leisure trips on Friday are being advised to set off before 11am if possible – or wait until the evening – to have a better chance of missing the worst of the jams.
Pressure on the roads will be increased due to disruption to train services caused by Network Rail carrying out more than 600 engineering projects.
London Euston will be closed on Sunday, adding several hours to many long-distance journeys.
