Wheelbarrows pinched from a popular pumpkin patch in south Norfolk have been recovered by police.

The incident happened at Mrs G’s Pumpkin Patch in Garboldisham, in Harling Road, between 8.30pm on October 5 and 12.30am the following morning.

A compact tractor, a mower and 27 wheelbarrows were taken in the heist - only some of which have now been recovered by the police at a site in Suffolk.

The incomplete haul will soon be returned to Mrs G’s Pumpkin Patch.

A spokesman for South Norfolk Police said: "We know that rural crime has a real impact on many people here and our officers are working hard to both prevent thefts from happening and to recover goods if the crimes do occur.
